Want to get more spin from your wedges ? I have 3 factors that will reveal how much spin you will get from your wedges . You need a good amount of backspin to stop your ball near the pin on a uniformfooting.

Now, if you want to know how to hit a golf ball with backspin, you have to realize it is more difficult to mystify a good backspin than it used to be. Golf makers have lowered the wedge lofts and short irons. There is also a new rule that willlimit golfers capabilities when it comes to putting a backspin on a ball.

But I have good news for you ! You can still put a backspin on a ball if you already know how to swing a golf club. But you need more than just your swing to put backspin on a golf ball. You also need the right ball with the right grooves if you want to know how to get the right backspin with your swing. So I’m going to give you 3 factors you’re going to need to make this work .

1.) Swing Quality- If you’re going to get a great backspin, then you need clean ball contact that will catch on grooves 3-6 on a golf club and accelerate through impact.

2.) Face Grooves-Play with a wedge that has good enough grooves. To engage a balls cover, when you hit it, you need enough loft and friction. You need 3 quality grooves to put a good backspin on a golf ball : 1. Box Grooves, 2. U-Grooves, and 3. V-Grooves. If you want to produce the best spin, then Box Grooves are the best. Also the newer and cleaner the club, the more backspin you will obtain. You also want to keep your grooves sharp for better backspin.

3.) Golfball Cover-If you want the peak(a) possible spin on your ball, you need a ball that is soft enough to engage the grooves of your clubface. The 2 for you to choose is urethane and Surlyn. Urethan covers are softer than Surlyn.

So these are some helpful ways on how to hit a golf ball with backspin using wedges. If you want to learn more about how to play golf, or how to improve your swing click here.

Golf is a sport based on mechanics. The more attention you pay to the mechanics of your swing, the greater your chances of swinging for distance and precision. There are lots of factors that make up a good golf swing, but there’s three helpful hints that you should always keep in mind while you’re addressing the golf ball. The one constant with golf is that despite what you know or think you know, if you would like to get better you have to continue practicing.

Alright, tip number 1. Make sure your stance feels right. For example, if you are feeling like you might be bending over a lot then ya most likely are. Part of your golf swing is a reflection of your feelings before you actually take that swing. So relax, get comfortable with that stance first. Keep the shoulders parallel towards the ground and your hips in line together with your shoulders (forming a square). Choose a comfortable stance, next begin refining your stance into a strong, accurate swing.

The next thing to check out is where you are putting the ball within your stance. Every club inside your bag includes a different angle to the club head. This angle was created to provide you with the type of range you expect from that specific club. You will also see how the club head on your woods is molded differently than your irons. The club head on a wood is made to provide much more energy upon impact than an iron which accounts for the additional range you can get from a well struck wood. When the ball is not within the correct spot within your stance, then you don’t gain any benefit from all of the golf club engineering that was just described. Woods require the ball to be forward in your stance to benefit from the energy these clubs generate at impact. Middle irons require the ball to be in the center of your stance so that you can have better control over the accuracy of your shot. Short irons and chipping irons require the ball to be further back in your stance to allow the angle of the club head to better affect the spin of the ball. Put the ball where it needs to be in your stance and you will exercise greater control over the results.

Finally, it is a good idea to remember that the swing is a pivot type motion where you are moving your weight and power from back to front. It isn’t a raising or dropping motion, nor is it a shoulder swinging motion. Your entire body needs to pivot properly for a golf swing to lead to great results, so practice pivoting your body on your hips and correctly switching your weight from back to front to obtain good results. Do not lift your body, and don’t let your shoulders to dip down. You’ll be able to avoid raising your body by keeping your eye on your ball. Keeping your focus on the ball during your swing pretty much insures that your shoulders will stay down on the ball as they are supposed to.

To sum it all up, you need to get comfortable with a stance that works for you, after that position your stance to the ball according to what clubs you’re using and lastly swing the club in a smooth sweeping motion (no drops or sudden lifts). Needless to say it all looks really easy on paper, but the best way to actually perfect your swing is to get out there!

Here is a really thorough article on the proper way to swing a golf club

Want to get more spin from your wedges ? There are 3 variables that will tell you how much spin you will get from your wedges . You need a good amount of backspin to stop your ball near the pin on a consistent base.

Now, if you want to learn how to put a backspin on a golf ball, you have to realize it is more difficult to obtain a good backspin than it used to be. Makers of golf clubs have lowered the wedge lofts and short irons. There is also a new rule that will bandaged golfers capabilities when it comes to putting a backspin on a ball.

There is good news though! If you know how to swing a club and hit a golf ball, than you are already in a position to put some backspin on the ball. However, your swing is not the only thing you need to put a good backspin on a golf ball. You also need the right ball with the right grooves if you want to know how to get the right backspin with your swing. So I’m going to give you 3 factors you’re going to need to make this work .

1.) Swing Quality-You need clean ball contact that will catch the golf clubs on grooves 3-6 and quicken through impact.

2.) Face Grooves-Play with a wedge that has good decent grooves. You need a wedge that has enough loft and friction to engage a balls cover. You need 3 quality grooves to put a good backspin on a golf ball : 1. Box Grooves, 2. U-Grooves, and 3. V-Grooves. Box grooves are the best when producing the most spin; 2nd is U-Grooves followed by V-Grooves. Also the newer and cleaner the club, the more backspin you will obtain. You will also get a better backspin by keeping your grooves sharp at all times.

3.) Golfball Cover-If you want the peak(a) possible backspin on your ball, you need a ball that is soft enough to engage the grooves of your clubface. The 2 for you to choose is urethane and Surlyn. Urethan covers are softer than Surlyn.

So these are some helpful ways on how to put backspin on a golf ball using wedges.
